Salary: NJC Grade C - £23,500 -£24,294 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

The Duchy School, in Bradninch, is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. This permanent position is for 30 hours per week, (5 days per week term time), 39 weeks per year.

We require an individual who is enthusiastic, conscientious, self-motivated and would like to provide a key role in enabling access to learning for our pupils.

This role will involve working closely with teachers and other colleagues to support a range of pupils, including those with recognised special educational needs. It is a highly rewarding position within a supportive team, where you can gain new skills and make a real difference to the education of our children.

The ideal candidates will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to undertake work, care and support programmes as directed by the class teacher and SENDCo. We are very proud of our inclusive school and our support staff team play a vital role in enabling our children to succeed.
